THE HOUSE
Kildonan House self-catering, Market Street, Ullapool is an impressive 3 storey stone town house. Built around 1900 by
'Kenny the Drover' Great Grandfather of the owner, whose Fathers family originated from Isle Martin, near Ardmair. Kildonan House has
been a family home but is now a spectacular holiday home comfortably accommodating 8 persons.
This perfect holiday home is furnished and equipped to a high standard. Tastefully decorated in soft Farrow and Ball colours,
refurbished bathrooms, contemporary beds and classic linen make this an ideal retreat for four couples, friends and family holidays or those
who require spacious surroundings.
All your vehicle requirements are catered for with private parking for four cars on the gravel area directly
outside the house.

THE AREA
Kildonan House sits comfortably in the leafy Market Street of Ullapool. A wide tree lined quiet street
with pavements and grassed house fronts give the area a feeling of village park. In spring when the trees are in blossom
the street is quite spectacular.

With three windows facing the garden this well-appointed kitchen is a spacious, light room. Extremely well equipped with a
plentiful supply of crockery & glasses and a dining table that can seat 10 persons, this area provides an excellent area
for food preparation and dining experience. The kitchen door to garden takes you to the decked patio and offers a practical
and stylish spot for alfresco dining, or simply relaxing.

Whether you are watching TV, reading books or planning the next day using the internet and local maps - this is the place to do it!
A second reception room, know as 'The Snug' has a mix of old and new furniture which blends well and adds to the charm of the timeless
atmosphere. With second TV and another sofa maybe its a place for younger members of the family to have their own space.

BEDROOMS

On the first floor there are two king size bedrooms, the Lavender and the Provence bedrooms both with windows and views of Market Street. Both have kingsize beds, lots of storage
space and the Lavender bedroom has an ensuite shower room.

On the top floor, with coombed ceilings and dormer windows looking over Ullapool, are two well appointed cosy attic rooms, both with twin beds.
Tartan Red bedroom is still called Annes Room and the last homely bedroom has been nicknamed Bo Peep. Between the two bedrooms there
is a useful dressing room with chests of drawers and cupboard, a great area for storing suitcases and clothing. All these lovely light filled bedrooms have superb original art adorning the walls.

For guests convenience there are two family bathrooms, on the ground floor a spacious tiled bright family bathroom with bath
and electric shower, on the first floor a light filled shower room with electric shower, both have toilets and wash basins.

THE GARDEN
The enclosed garden with large decked area and build in seating is a great place for sun worshippers as it catches the sun; with grassed area,
flower beds and patio pots what better place to spend the long summer evenings. A lockable garden gate ensures a safe area for children.
Coming soon and designed by the owner will be a garden table and seating.

From Inverness follow the A9 North - direction Ullapool.
At the Tore roundabout follow the A835 - direction Ullapool.
