THE HOUSE
Runie Lodge was built in 1851 as the local school and schoolhouse, it ceased being a school in 1941 and has since become
a family home. We have refurbished Runie Lodge in keeping providing a luxury self-catering accommodation with spacious rooms.
There are original stone features, oak beams and woodburning stoves.

Glen Almond has 3 bedrooms which can accommodate 7 persons - 1 double, 1 twin room and 1 triple room.

Comfortable plush deep leather sofas & cosy cushions, adjustable lighting, orginal art, side tables, a large flat screen
TV and modern wood burning stove makes the lounge a great place to relax after a strenuous hill walk, or if the weather is unkind, retreat indoors and warm yourself by the fire.

lots of storage space for your own food items there's everything the keen cook needs.

THE DINING ROOM
The airy dining room overlooks the sunny garden. The perfect place for a relaxed breakfasts or with the lights dimmed an intimate evening dinner.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms both with double aspect windows and views to the garden.
There is a double room and a twin room, both have leather beds and contemporary style furniture. From these
rooms you can see the ferry arriving at the harbour.

On the ground floor the bedroom is fun style decor. With a double bed and single bed over this room sleeps 3.
A desk, wall mounted TV and iPod docking station make it very suitable for adults, teenagers or children, bring your own games and make use of the gaming chair.

For guest conveinence there are two bathrooms, a modern clean bright family bathroom with bath
and powerful shower on the ground floor and with co-ordinating decor a bright shower room with electric shower on the first floor, both also have toilets and wash basins.

The large flat enclosed garden faces south; there is a furnished
area with outside seating and barbeque. Lockable garden gate ensures a safe area for children or dogs.

DIRECTIONS
From Inverness follow the A9 North - direction Ullapool.
At the Tore roundabout follow the A835 - direction Ullapool.
When in Ullapool you will pass the petrol station on your right, the road bends sharply to the right, stay on this road
and take the 2nd left into Pultney Street. Glen Almond is approximately 100 meters on the left and has a cherry tree just outside the house
