Ealasaid Our first Guest, Tony, who stayed at Ealasaid in September awarded the house 5* Ealasaid, self catering holiday home situated on Castle Terrace, Ullapool offers a luxury spacious light house with spectacular views of Ullapool River and Loch Broom. Ealasaid which is Gaelic for Elizabeth, was named after the original lady of the house. Ealasaid sleeps 4 to 5 persons in comfort and style.

	Large Hall

The Snug

The sunny ground floor snug has patio doors that open into the enclosed garden. With many varied books to read what better place to sit for a quiet moment. The snug has a sofa bed that can convert into a very comfy bed for an additional guest.

The utility room is just off the kitchen and all your holiday needs are catered for with a freezer, washing machine, tumble drier and space to hang damp coats or boots to dry. A door leads to the private garden.

Also on the ground floor is a shower room with washbasin and toilet.

The Bedrooms

Two bedrooms on the first floor comprise a double room with coombed ceiling, dormer window, washbasin and vanity area and ample storage space. The double bedroom faces the loch and river. The twin room is another large room with excellent storage space and views over the garden, you can just catch a glimpse of the ferry arriving at the harbour.

			All rooms in Ealasaid are light and spacious and the sitting room on the first floor has large windows that take advantage of that spectacular view. The comfy sofa's, books and DVD's and a desk for postcard writing make this a lovely room for relaxing. For additional heat there is an electric fire with flame for warmth and effect. Sit back and watch the boats come and go through Loch Broom to Ullapool and beyond.

	Garden

With its patio paving, planted pots and garden furniture, this sun trap of a garden is ideal for just sitting! Secluded and private with sunloungers and barbeque conveniently stored in the garage. There is lots of space in the garage to store cycles and also a space to hang clothing if you have a wet day on the hills.

Activities

Walking, wildlife, birdwatching, fishing, boat trips, golf, climbing, sailing, cycling and sitting by the harbour watching the boats come home.

From Inverness follow the A9 North - direction Ullapool. At the Tore roundabout follow the A835 - direction Ullapool. In Ullapool you will see the garage on your right, indicate left and continue along Shore Street. Take the first right into Quay Street (near the Seaforth Pub), continue on Quay Street to the end of the road. Take a left into Castle Terrace. Ealasaid is approximately 150 meters on the left hand side, there is parking for 1 car in front of the garage.
