SECRET GARDEN
From the courtyard find the secret garden set on the natural slope of the land, in Summer splashes of colour from tall lupins
line the gravel path which leads to West Argyle Street.
Looking at The Yellow House from Broomfield, the long windows are reminiscent of the old fish store buildings along by the harbour with their long narrow windows.
The lawned area, another place to catch the sun also has a convenient washing line.

THE AREA
A place to unwind, read one of the many and varied books or study a map and plan your days out. There is plenty to keep you occupied at The Yellow House
or tour the Scottish west coast to discover hidden beaches, rock pools and remote mountains.

OPEN PLAN LIVING SPACE
Entering the open plan living space you are struck by the vaulted ceiling, stone floor, arched window, warmth and quietness,
the feel of walking into a beautifully decorated church comes to mind.
Six roof velux windows set in the painted wooden ceiling flood the space with light, while the kilim sofa and
tapestry cushions, handmade rug, chaise lounge and antique chair add eye-catching pieces of furniture.
The Yellow House is heated by a ground source heat pump which uses the natural energy stored in the earth, for additional warmth
there is an attractive bright red woodburner with natural slate hearth. A door to the balcony gives views to Loch Broom and the
hills beyond, steps lead to the courtyard and garden with access to car parking.

THE KITCHEN
Hand made bespoke wooden kitchen units in soft Farrow and Ball paint contrast against the deep red walls, the island unit with wooden surface adds
additional worktop. When not eating out at the restaurant close by,
consealed in the cupboards are everything you require to make meals.
It may take time to prepare dinner as its easy to be distracted with the view from the kitchen window!

DIRECTIONS
From Inverness follow the A9 North - direction Ullapool.
At the Tore roundabout follow the A835 - direction Ullapool.
When in Ullapool you will pass the petrol station on your right, indicate left and continue along Shore Street. Go straight past the harbour into West Shore Street,
take the first right to West Lane, then 2nd left to The Ceilidh Clubhouse car park, there is private parking beside The yellow House.
