THE HOUSE
View Hill is a traditional croft house in the scenic village of Elphin. Sitting on top of the hill with uninterrupted views
of Sutherland and the stunning Suliven mountain makes this an ideal cottage for those wishing to explore the surrounding spectacular region.
View Hill has 3 bedrooms which can accommodate 5 persons - 1 ground floor double and on the first floor 1 large double and 1 single bedrooms.
Also a spacious kitchen with table, dining room, utility, hall, living room, sun porch, bathroom with bath and electric shower.
The cottage is comfortable and cosy but the views alone will have you coming back time and again.

GARDEN
For those just wishing to relax the private grounds provide plenty of opportunity for bird watching
or just sitting in a desk chair.
Fenced lawned garden surround the cottage making it a wonderful play area
for children too and the gravel drive provides ample parking for three cars.

THE AREA
Located within the North West Highlands Geopark and just north of Knockan Crag guarantees a vast area to discover.
Known for hill walking, mountain climbing, loch and river fishing, and not far from Achiltibuie,
The Summer Isles with white sandy beaches and rock pools.

LIVING SPACE
The comfortable sitting room has sofa and armchairs, books and for additional heat an electric fire with
flame for warmth and effect. View Hill has a DVD / CD player but due to the remote area and lack of reception there is no TV.
A sun porch with conservatory furniture provides a relaxing place to read or admire the view, as does the dining room with table for 6 -
in fact there is an amazing view from most windows!

The spacious cottage has charming character and has been well modernised with a large kitchen, fully equipped pantry and adjoining utility room.
Breakfast can easily be enjoyed at the kitchen table with another view.

DIRECTIONS
From Inverness follow the A9 North - direction Ullapool.
At the Tore roundabout follow the A835 - direction Ullapool.
The house is situated 15 miles north of Ullapool; follow the A835 north after 12 miles you will pass Knockan Crag Visitors Centre on your right.
The road goes downhill past the sign for Elphin, pass the public layby on your left, take the single track to the right, approximately 100 mts and View Hill is on the left.
