This smart detached well equipped cottage all on one level is tastefully decorated throughout and provides comfortable warm accommodation. Achbeg - meaning 'Little Field' is located in an extremely attractive area making it an ideal Scottish holiday location for you.  

The sunny sitting room with double aspect windows has views to the mountains, river valley and bird feeders where you are likely to see an abundance of wildlife.

A spacious kitchen is fully fitted with ample equipment for your holiday needs, the dining table in the sitting room comfortably seats 4 for a cosy meal, perhaps with a bottle of wine, before relaxing on the sofa with a movie or planning your next day’s outing.

Double and twin bedrooms including good storage for your belongings, are designed for comfort to suit guests requirements. For cooler nights there is also the added luxury of electric blankets. A light bright tiled family bathroom sits conveniently between the 2 bedrooms.

When not out enjoying this spectacular part of Scotland or watching the evening sunsets there is a good collection of DVD’s for entertainment, books, maps and local information.

Outside a gravelled area provides parking for 2 cars and the private enclosed garden has a lawn bordered by mature colourful shrubs and trees. The sheltered garden is a great suntrap with bench, table and chairs offering a serene setting in which to relax.

Hill and coastal walks can be enjoyed directly from the cottage and an easy drive further north through stunning scenery make this an excellent base to explore the wider area of Coigach and Sutherland. Loch fishing is available locally too so bring your fishing rods!

The private single track to the house is not suited to low clearance vehicles on the final 50m to the house. There is additional parking approximately 50m from Achbeg.
