Tigh Na Mara the ‘House by the Sea’ is exactly what the name says; this fabulous holiday home is situated on Ullapool’s West Shore Street, by the beach and shores of Lochbroom. It’s an ideal location for touring the NC500 and exploring the North West coast of Scotland.

What a wonderful location Tigh Na Mara has! It’s just idyllic in so many ways – the garden faces west and enjoys stunning sunsets; overlooks the sea; a seat to watch the seals; short walk to the shop, cafe, pub or restaurant and a beautifully appointed house too!

The house has been designed to provide ample space for between two to eight guests, ideal for an extended family or group of friends, couples will love this house too and enjoy the space and location.

There is a corner and 4 seater sofa in the living room, curl up on one of the sofas with comfy cushions, lamps add to the comfort while you enjoy quality family time catching up after the day's events.

There is a very spacious open plan kitchen dining room which has modern fitted units with a range of contemporary appliances, or if you feel like eating out there is a restaurant 75 metre walk. From the kitchen a door leads to the utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, sink and beach towels.

With a large dining table and comfy chair there is plenty of space to not only have meals but plan your days out, study a map or play games.

This expansive holiday home has four well-presented bedrooms consisting of a twin room and three doubles.

Having a shower room and two bedrooms on the ground floor, this house could suit guests who have difficulty with stairs. On the first floor both bedrooms have sea views, an abundance of natural light and ensuite shower rooms.

At the rear of the house a small hall leads to the fenced garden, there are steps to the lawn where garden chairs and a table cater for outside dining or catching a sunset.

It’s a beach house to come home to!
