Glen Almond is a holiday home designed for friends, families, children and the family pet. The
comfortable furnishings and welcoming environment creates perfect accommodation in Scotland's
premier holiday destination.
All amenities are within immediate walking distance including loch cruises looking for dolphins, the
leisure centre with swimming pool and sauna, a specialist deli with wonderful cheeses and homemade
cakes, restaurants and craft shops.
Comfortable leather sofas & cosy cushions, adjustable lighting, original art and wood burning stove
all make the lounge a great place to relax after a strenuous hill walk. For indoor evenings or
laid-back days, the cupboard is well stocked with board games and jigsaws, also lots of books and maps
to browse.
Equipped with a spacious contemporary kitchen with integrated appliances and lots of storage space for
your own food, there's everything the keen cook needs. For that quick breakfast or the morning
coffee there is also a table and chairs, but for relaxed meals or an intimate evening dinner, dim the
lights and enjoy the airy dining room overlooking the garden.
With two bedrooms on the first floor both with double aspect windows and views to the garden and a
ground floor bedroom with fun style décor, it will be difficult to choose where to sleep. You may decide
on the room with double and single bed, wall mounted TV and iPod docking station making it a suitable
choice for adults, teenagers or children. Upstairs see if you can catch a glimpse of the ferry arriving
at the harbour.
For guest convenience there are two bathrooms, a modern, clean, bright family bathroom with bath and
powerful shower on the ground floor and with co-ordinating decor, a bright shower room with electric
shower on the first floor. Both also have toilets and wash basins.
The large flat enclosed garden faces south; there is a furnished area with outside seating and
barbeque. Lockable garden gate ensures a safe area for children or dogs.
Directly outside the house there is parking for three cars on the gravel area and a garage providing
storage for bicycles, motorbike or golf clubs.
In summer with endless daylight you may travel far & wide, picturesque roads take you by sandy
beaches along the coast and are delightful for children and adults. There are mountains to climb, rivers
to ford and beaches to comb or just relax on the sea wall with the local fish and chips.
This could be you!
