Craigmore is in an enviable position on Shore Street, Ullapool and has belonged to the same family for
many generations. A traditional whitehouse cottage that has been modernised beautifully, built in the
early 1900’s and situated in a row of similar old houses who all look towards Loch Broom.
This spacious light and airy self-catering accommodation is an upside down house; all the living space
is on the first floor to take in the magnificent views. And what a view it is!
The open plan living space is beautifully furnished; relax in the very comfortable sitting area with
wood burning stove and spectacular views where you can watch the busy harbour. The house has been
designed with excellent insulation, little extra heating is required but its cosy to have a wood fire
occasionally. A large dining table with ample seating for six is adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen
- you will find everything for entertaining quite easy.
A small garden room with TV is set across the landing; here you can access a private terrace with table
and chairs.
The lovely stylish king sized bedroom with fully tiled ensuite bathroom is also on the first floor, you
may choose to unwind in a tempting bath after hill walking.
Entering Craigmore from Shore Street to the ground floor is where you’ll find the utility room; there
is access to a side door where you may go up a path to Argyle Street. The ground floor has the two
further bedrooms a lovely, comfortable twin bedroom and cosy double room, both face Loch Broom. Between
the bedrooms is a separate walk-in shower room with power shower and heated floor.
Craigmore has been created with the couples and families in mind but has not been designed to
accommodate very young children. For the comfort of guests who may have allergies we are sorry but we do
not accept dogs at this holiday home.
