It’s the perfect Highland retreat on Scotland’s west coast away from modern life, where you can truly switch off and relax. The comfortable cosy wood-lined sitting room with sea views, warming open fire and a wall-mounted TV is the perfect place to relax, read book, play a game, catch up with the world via internet or just enjoy the peace and quiet.

A modern and well-equipped kitchen/dining room is at the heart of the cottage where guests can chat, and enjoy meals together and swap tales of the days outing.

Benefiting from 2 bathrooms, its ideal when you’re back from a day exploring. For those caught in a rainstorm or for drying washing there is a drying room for clothes and boots.

From the front door there are walks aplenty, and only 3 minutes away the beach where you may look towards Isle Martin and The Summer Isles. Walking along the estuary you may spot otters or eagle and there are always red deer. Ben Mhor Coigach and the Postie’s Path are there for the adventurous. From the top you will have amazing views to Ullapool and further north. This estate will suit fishermen wishing to fish for salmon or trout and can be organised by prior arrangement. The estate also sells venison products which can be purchased from the ghillie.

Bring your kayak, launch from the beach and fish for mackerel for supper, from a kayak you’ll see seals around the island.

Private parking is by the cottage and a large enclosed lawned garden wraps around the house, leading up to the front door is a decked area with seats. The accommodation provides a very comfortable place to spend a week and is ideally located on the North Coast 500. Whatever you do, this homely cottage will provide you with a comfortable base in a stunning location and will exceed your expectations.

Please note: Shooting takes place on the estate all year round, due to fishing on the estate, children must to be supervised at all times.
